HOWTO: enable VLANs on a Cisco Switch

In this post I talk about how to setup VLANs on a Cisco IOS switch. The switch I used for this project was a Cisco 3550 / Cisco 3500 series switch. This howto covers:
- Logging into the switch
- Naming your VLANs
- Assigning IP Addresses to each VLAN
- Enabling Routing on your switch
- Testing
