What? 40:0eh <> 40:13h

By Jesse | August 22, 2011

I got this error when trying to boot up a new GigaByte Motherboard.

Turns out the BIOS was corrupted.. A re-flash with the latest BIOS for the board corrected the error.

Had the same problem with GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 1.0) but it appeard when i plugged Dawicontrol DC-133 for PATA discs and changed from IDE or AHCI mode to RAID mode in bios. After using newest bios update nothing changed, still got error. Donno how to fix it but now i know its bios problem that cannot manage my desires.
